The Last Reserve is being broadcast from a refugee camp in the Canadian wilderness; most of the people taking shelter there are from a small town in Castle Rock, Colorado. The U.S. government collapsed when North Korea managed to infiltrate and control every bit of technological aspects of life.  Living off the grid, this band of survivors exists, looking for a way to fight back.
