Located of off Minnehaha Avenue in South Minneapolis is a small locally owned business that tries to help people connect with the things they need.

‘Junket Tossed & Found’ is a social enterprise that targets community and creativity through reusing various items and fixing them up to be good as new. This company believes that small things add up and it is very important to prove this. In order to do this, Junket creates a strong social impact to foster positive change.

After speaking with Jane, a worker at Junket, she explains what their company is in her own words. “So our name is Junket and I think that just says a lot in and of itself because we are kind of a junk shop…We get pieces of things that are broken and we try and repair them.
We have a woman that comes in and repairs them, and if she is not able to fix it we tear it apart and sell the pieces.” This is a very unique, and efficient approach to sustaining our environment.

Junket is more than just a store, it is an inspiration for others to dream big, help restore our planet, and impact global issues by putting old items to a new creative use.
